Birmingham's Art Community Continues to Expand
Despite some pretty wicked weather, two art galleries brought out huge crowds. The Basha Gallery in Pepper Place celebrated its grand opening on December 8th. This impressive photographic display showcased the work of Karim Shamsi-Basha, and featured both local and national celebrities. The Art Alley in Homewood featured predominantly oils by local artists Thomas Andrew, Joanna Holloway and Sally Powell.
